Last weekend, the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after Mayakovsky held a bright and colorful holiday — the Day of the Peoples of the Middle Urals. The event, which brought together more than 20 national farms, was attended by representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Yekaterinburg.

Belarusian culture was presented at a separate courtyard, which was organized by activists of the National Cultural Autonomy "Belarusians of the Urals" - "Belur". The guests of the festival were able to get acquainted with the rich traditions of the fraternal people: elements of traditional costume, objects of decorative and applied art and souvenirs were exhibited on the site.

The national cuisine was especially popular among Yekaterinburg residents and guests of the city. Everyone could enjoy the famous Belarusian draniki, homemade black pudding, bacon and other authentic dishes.

The event was a vivid demonstration of the cultural diversity and friendship of the peoples living in the Urals. The Belarusian farmstead, like other national venues, contributed to the creation of a truly warm and welcoming holiday atmosphere.
