Belarusian social workers will participate in a professional skills championship in Russia for the first time

Belarusian social workers will participate in the "Professionals" professional skills championship in Russia for the first time. According to the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the regional stage of the competition in the "Social Work" competency will be held from February 9 to 13 in Blagoveshchensk at Amur State University.

The team from the Minsk State College of the Service Sector will defend Belarus's honor. Kristina Matyushonok, Head of the Social Work Department, will serve as the expert mentor, and third-year student Liliya Grodnikova will compete.

The Ministry of Labor noted that the "Professionals" championship (formerly WorldSkills Russia) is a large-scale competition aimed at enhancing the prestige of blue-collar jobs and demonstrating the highest standards of excellence. Participation in this competition recognizes the quality of personnel training.
