Belarusian minister highlights importance of multi-brand center projects in Russia

It is important we intensify work on the creation of multi-brand centers in Russia, Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov said at the ministry’s board meeting to review performance of companies affiliated with the Industry Ministry in 2024, BelTA learned.

Speaking about the work in the Russian market, Aleksandr Yefimov recalled that in December 2023, the Industry Ministry approved a strategy for the development and improvement of the industry distribution network, assembly and joint production facilities, service and logistics centers. “Out of the 12 centers that we set out to create in Russia, five are up and running (in Novosibirsk Oblast, the Republic of Tatarstan, Kemerovo Oblast and two centers in Omsk Oblast),” the minister said.
Despite the achieved results, it is important we step up work on multi-brand centers, the minister said.
The meeting of the Industry Ministry is set to take stock of performance in 2024 and discuss plans for 2025. The meeting is attended by representatives of enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry, as well as heads of other government agencies. The meeting is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich.
