Belarus, St Petersburg ink agreements on cooperation in economy, science, pharmaceutics

Belarus and St Petersburg have signed a number of cooperation agreements, BelTA has learned.

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and St Petersburg Governor Aleksandr Beglov signed a roadmap to guide trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation between the two governments in 2022-2026 and minutes of the 12th session of the Belarus-St Petersburg Business Cooperation Council.
A program on scientific and technical cooperation between educational and scientific organizations in 2022-2024 was also signed.
The Genetics and Cytology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the federal research center N. I. Vavilov All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources will advance their cooperation. The B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ioffe Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences also intend to step up interaction.
Apart from that, agreements were signed on cooperation between the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry and AO BIOCAD, between OAO Mogilevliftmash and the St Petersburg Housing Committee.
