Belarus-Russia Union State PA to discuss implementation of sci-tech programs

The Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will hold a video conference on 28 September, BelTA learned from the PA press service.

MPs will take stock made in the progress of the following sci-tech programs of the Belarus-Russia Union State: “Development of complex technologies for the creation of materials, devices and key elements of space facilities and advanced products of other industries” (Technology SG); “Development of a new generation of electronic components for control and safety systems of special and dual-purpose vehicles” (Autoelectronics); “Development of innovative energy-saving technologies and equipment for the production and effective use of safe mixed feeds for valuable species of fish, fur animals and certain types of animals” (Mixed Fodder).

“The Parliamentary Assembly also exercises control over the implementation of priority areas and overriding goals aimed at further development of the Union State for 2018-2022. This meeting will highlight the discussion of the implementation of the document in terms of the formation of a single scientific and technological space of the Union State,” the press service added.

Attending the event apart from the Union State MPs will be representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, ministries and R&D institutions of Belarus and Russia.
