Belarus, Russia discuss cooperation in customs matters

Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Belarus Vladimir Orlovsky and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev discussed bilateral cooperation in customs matters on 1 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Customs Committee.

“The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the customs sphere, including the results of joint work and promising areas of interaction between the customs services of the two countries,” the State Customs Committee informed.

It added that the chairman of the State Customs Committee welcomed the high level of interaction with Russian counterparts and expressed confidence that constructive cooperation will continue.

The meeting was hosted by the State Customs Committee. Taking part in it was Valery Seleznev, Head of Representation of the Customs Service of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus.
