Belarus PM arrives in Russia's Krasnodar on working visit

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has arrived on a working visit in Krasnodar, the Russian Federation, BelTA has learned.

This is the first stop on the route of the Belarusian government delegation within the framework of the trip around the Russian regions. During the working visit to Krasnodar, Roman Golovchenko is scheduled to meet with Governor of Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev.
Another item on the business program will be the YUGAGRO 2023 exhibition. This agricultural forum starts on 21 November. The Belarusian head of government is expected to take part in the opening ceremony of the 30th International Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery, Equipment and Materials for the Production and Processing of Crop Agricultural Products.
YUGAGRO 2023 will occupy four pavilions and three open areas. Belarus will be represented at the exhibition both by machinery jointly assembled at Krasnodar Territory enterprises (tractors, harvesters, grain trucks on MAZ chassis) and Belarusian-made machinery. On display will be samples of MTZ, Gomselmash, MAZ and other enterprises.
Roman Golovchenko and Veniamin Kondratyev are set to visit the stand of machinery, produced as part of the joint projects of enterprises of Belarus and Krasnodar Territory. The program of the exhibition will also include a ceremony to hand over keys of BELARUS municipal tractors and trolleybuses by the governor of Krasnodar Territory to the heads of municipalities.
Belarus, and this was emphasized by Veniamin Kondratyev at his recent meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, is a strategically important partner of the Krasnodar Territory. Active cooperation in various areas has been on for more than 20 years. In recent years, the relations have significantly strengthened. Many joint projects which are underway testify to the fact. During the prime minister's visit to Krasnodar a new project will be launched. The construction of a multi-brand BELARUS trade and service center will start there. Roman Golovchenko and Veniamin Kondratyev will take part in a ceremony to lay a capsule at the site of the future facility.
According to the press service of the Belarusian government, the protocol of intentions on cooperation in investment in the implementation of the investment project “Construction of a trade and service center of the Belarus special machinery in Krasnodar between the Administration of Krasnodar Territory and Trade House MTZ-North-West (the official representative of MTZ in Krasnodar Territory) was signed on 18 September 2023 during the visit of the governor of Krasnodar Territory in Belarus.
On 26 September, during the working trip of Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik to Krasnodar and negotiations with Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev, an agreement was reached on the expediency of the project to consider the development of a multi-brand facility.
On 21-22 November the Belarusian delegation is set to hold a number of working meetings in Nizhny Novgorod.
