Belarus’ MAZ to strengthen cooperation with Russia’s Smolensk Oblast

Belarus has signed a roadmap on cooperation, construction of a service center and organization of joint production in Smolensk Oblast, BelTA learned from the press service of Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark).

The document was signed by Governor of Smolensk Oblast Vasily Anokhin and MAZ Director General Valery Ivankovich during the visit of a delegation of MAZ and official distributor MAZ-RUS to Smolensk.

The project opens wide horizons for both parties: it is not only an impetus for economic growth of the region, but also an increase in production potential, new jobs. Today it is in the active stage of implementation and is steadily gaining momentum, the MAZ press service said.
