Belarus, Gazprom launch talks on gas supplies from 2021

Belarus and Gazprom have started negotiations on gas supplies starting from 2021, BelTA learned from the press service of the Russian energy company after the meeting between Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller in St. Petersburg on 11 November, BelTA has learned.

“The parties agreed that the issue of repayment of Belarus' debt for Russian gas supplies had been fully settled. In this regard, negotiations have been started in respect to gas supplies to Belarus starting from 1 January 2021,” the press service said.
