Belarus’ Amkodor company, Russia’s Kemerovo Oblast step up cooperation

The Amkodor holding company is expanding cooperation with Russia’s Kemerovo Oblast, BelTA learned from the Amkodor holding company.

As part of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Russia’s Kemerovo Oblast, led by First Deputy Industry Minister Andrei Konyushko, the management of the Amkodor holding company held a series of business meetings.

Amkodor presented its model range to Kemerovo Oblast officials and business representatives, showcasing machinery from road construction and utility equipment to logging and agricultural machinery. The participants of the meeting praised the Belarusian equipment for its versatility, wide range of functions, and efficient performance in various climate conditions. The parties discussed the possibility of setting up a joint Amkodor assembly production facility in Kemerovo Oblast. Consideration was given to industrial cooperation, technology exchange and strengthening partnership ties between industrial enterprises of Belarus and Russia.

Based on the meeting outcomes, the parties mapped out the region’s needs for Amkodor machinery in all areas and established a cooperation roadmap between the enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian Industry Ministry and Russia’s Kemerovo Oblast.

The planned initiatives will help strengthen business ties, expand the presence of Belarusian machinery on the Russian market and ensure the implementation of new joint projects aimed at developing the industrial potential of the region, the holding company noted.
