During a Belarusian delegation’s visit to Russia’s Kirov Oblast, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik held a working meeting with the region’s governor, Alexander Sokolov, the embassy’s press service told BelTA.

“The parties have discussed a wide range of issues related to Belarus’ cooperation with the Russian region across various sectors: transport, agriculture, industry, and utilities,” the press service reported. “They reviewed progress to implement earlier agreements and thoroughly examined the prospects for the supply of Belarusian-made passenger transport, as well as cooperation in waste recycling, water treatment, and wastewater treatment.”

During the visit, the delegation also met with senior officials from the Kirov Oblast’s ministries of transport, energy, housing and utilities, and environmental protection. The program included tours of the region’s industrial enterprises and dealerships for Belarusian equipment.
