At a meeting at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, 12 programs of the Union State were reviewed

On February 6, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted a meeting chaired by State Secretary of the Union State Sergei Glazyev and Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences Vladimir Karanik with representatives of Belarusian ministries and organizations that are state customers of Union State programs, projects, and events financed from the Union budget.

According to the NAS press service, 12 Union State programs in the areas of defense, security, military-technical cooperation, social policy, and economics were reviewed.

"The key feature of the Union State programs is their innovative nature and alignment with the mutual interests of Belarus and Russia," the NAS explained.

Six union programs are promising, including four through the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

These are “Technological platform for identification of new molecular targets: membrane proteins and their complexes” (Biomembrane-Union), “Development of robotic technical means for industrial gardening” (Gardening-SG), “Innovative technologies and equipment for the production of specialized baby food” (Baby Food), and “Development of a complex of automated and robotic machines, equipment, and digital technologies for dairy farming” (Intellectual Farm-SG).
