Lukashenko congratulates Belarusian swimmer on Paralympic Games gold

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated a member of the national Paralympic sports team Yahor Shchalkanau on winning a gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

“By demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and the will to win, you’ve exceeded your accomplishment during the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in 2021. Only the most talented, purpose-driven, and hardworking people are capable of such results,” the congratulation reads.

The president wished strong health, prosperity, and new great victories to the athlete.
