Three thousand volunteers will become a part of one of the largest sporting events of this year - the III CIS Games in Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned with reference to the official website of the III CIS Games.

For example, the largest number of volunteers - 1,250 people - will be involved in the city of Ganja, 600 in Gabala, 350 in Shaki.
The volunteer program of the III Games of the CIS countries aroused great interest. More than 9700 applications were submitted through the registration portal. 7,200 candidates participated in the interview stage, which started on June 24, and the selection process was successfully completed. Trainings aimed at preparing volunteers for the Games are currently underway.
During the Games, volunteers will work in such areas as sports operations, human resource and workforce management, facility management, organization of events and ceremonies, and media operations. They will be actively involved in meeting and accompanying athletes, guests and media representatives, as well as helping them obtain the necessary information.
Volunteers will become an integral part of the III Games of the CIS countries, make an important contribution to the high-level competitions and play an indispensable role in the successful organization of this large-scale sports festival.
