Lukashenko signs decree to increase retirement pensions on 1 March

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 24 "On Increasing Pensions" on 31 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

According to the document, retirement pensions will be recalculated on 1 March 2022 in connection with the growth of the average salary by adjusting the actual earnings of pensioners based on the average salary of employees in the country, applied during the previous recalculation of pensions.

As a result, pensions will increase by an average of 6.3% on 1 March 2022.
