Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Armenia

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the people of Armenia as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“This significant event, the 35th anniversary of the attainment of sovereignty, symbolizes the desire of Armenians for free and independent development and the preservation of their rich culture,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state noted that today, when the world faces serious challenges, time-tested friendly ties become especially valuable. “Minsk and Yerevan are united not only by shared pages of history but also genuine sympathy between their peoples, which is a solid foundation for open and constructive partnership,” he emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the people of Armenia stability and confidence in the future. “May harmony and joy reign in every home,” the Belarusian leader added.
