Bellesbumprom's furniture export to Russia's Tomsk Oblast up by almost 1.7 times in H1 2023

In the first half of 2023, enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom increased furniture exports to Tomsk Oblast by nearly 1.7 times, BelTA learned from the press service of the concern.

“The enterprises of the Bellesbumprom concern make their contribution to expanding Belarus' cooperation with Tomsk Oblast. In January-June, furniture export to this region of Russia rose by almost 1.7 times year-on-year. Board products, paper and cardboard are also supplied there,” the press service said.

On 14 August representatives of the Tomsk Special Economic Zone visited ZOV-LenEVROMEBEL. The Tomsk delegation was shown the trade and exhibition center of the enterprise and studied its production capabilities and the product assortment.

A reminder, in 2022 trade between Belarus and Russia's Tomsk Oblast increased by 47% to nearly $23 million. Positive dynamics remained in place this year. Trade expanded by almost 30% in H1 2023.
