Belarus’ light industry companies expanding presence in Russia’s Ufa

Belarusian light industry companies are expanding their presence in Ufa, the capital city of Russia’s Bashkortostan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

In particular, a store of Belarusian clothing company Mark Formelle opened in Ufa’s Arkada Mall. The store has an area of about 500m2 and sells a wide range of clothing and accessories for men, women, children, including casual and home wear, clothing for sports, swimwear, underwear, etc.

“This is the third store of this Belarusian manufacturer in the capital of Bashkortostan,” said Head of the Ufa Branch of the Belarusian Embassy Artur Karpovich. “Visitors to the Arkada Mall can buy not only high-quality shoes in the Marko store, but also cosmetics in the Belarusian Cosmetics store.

The Belarusian clothing brand COMINTERN ran a fashion show at the 2nd regional forum of public initiatives “Strong Ideas for the Country” that was recently held in Ufa. The diplomatic mission recalled that Bashkortostan senior officials love to wear suits of this Gomel-based enterprise.

According to the embassy, Orsha Linen Mill and the Pinskdrev furniture maker have plans to open their brand stores in the run-up to the 450th anniversary of Ufa to be celebrated in August.
