Lavrov: Union State integration advancing

Russia and Belarus advanced the integration within the framework of the Union State in 2021, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference for Russian and foreign journalists in Moscow on 14 January, BelTA has learned.

“Last year, the integration cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union was developing actively. The integration process within the framework of the Union State of Russia and Belarus deepened," Sergey Lavrov emphasized. According to him, this contributed to the promotion of the Greater Eurasian Partnership initiative.

The Russian foreign minister assured that the strengthening of the integration processes will continue this year as well.
