PHOTOfact: Minsk hosted a concert of the Belarusian-Russian youth symphony orchestra

Today in Minsk, as part of a two-day tour (October 4 - Moscow, October 5 - Minsk), a concert of the youth Belarusian-Russian symphony orchestra took place on the stage of the Great Concert Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic.

As part of the tour program, the audience enjoyed the Piano Concerto No. 3 by S. Rachmaninov, the piece "Polovtsian Dances" from the opera "Prince Igor" by A. Borodin, "Adagio" from the ballet "Spartacus" and Waltz from the music for Y. Lermontov's drama "Masquerade" by A. Khachaturian, Suite No. 2 from the ballet "Romeo and Juliet" by S. Prokofiev, as well as a work by a Belarusian composer - Waltz from the opera "The Wild Hunt of King Stakh" by Vladimir Soltan. This year, along with the orchestra's chief conductor Yuri Bashmet, the Belarusian conductor Alexander Sosnovsky will take part in the concert and rehearsal session.
