Russia’s North Ossetia shows interest in Belarus’ MTZ machinery

Russia's Republic of North Ossetia-Alania is interested in purchasing compact machinery from Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark), BelTA learned from the enterprise.

A delegation from the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, including head of the republic Sergei Menyailo, paid a visit to MTZ on 12 February. The visitors toured the tractor assembly shop and the BELARUS tractor machinery exhibition, and also visited the MTZ museum to hold negotiations.
The parties expressed interest in intensification of mutually beneficial cooperation. The Russian delegation showed the biggest interest in compact BELARUS machinery for agricultural and utilities works.
Minsk Tractor Works is the world's leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery. Over its almost 80-year history, the plant has produced about 4.1 million tractors. Currently the machines are produced under the BELARUS brand.
