Russia actively supports projects to produce vehicles jointly with Belarus, Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko told reporters during his working visit to Russia's Krasnodar, BelTA has learned.

“The president of Russia lauded our joint project to produce trams in Nizhny Novgorod. A similar project is running in Krasnodar thanks to the support of Krasnodar Territory. We have a large-scale program for the supply of trams. Our work to launch joint production of all types of vehicles in Russian regions was upheld. This is a state policy pursued by the Union State. And we simply have to deliver on this massive ambition in every region where it will benefit Belarusian and Russian enterprises,” said Roman Golovchenko.

Krasnodar is the first stop of the Belarusian government delegation during their trip to Russian regions. Next stop is Nizhny Novgorod.
