PM praises Belarusian economy performance in early 2026

Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin commented on the performance of the Belarusian economy at the beginning of 2026 on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.

“As the economy was not in decline, there is no need to change course. It is functioning, and functioning quite well. But we certainly cannot afford to relax, as the economy faces many challenges. The government is now working intensively in several areas,” Aleksandr Turchin said.

According to him, the start of the year for the economy as a whole is progressing in line with the planned parameters.
