Output of Belarusian Industry Ministry enterprises 12.6% up in 2023

The growth rate of the output of industrial goods made by enterprises run by the Belarusian Industry Ministry totaled 112.6% in 2023 in comparable prices, the Industry Ministry press service told BelTA.

The press service noted that the industry outperformed targets in 2023. To compare: in 2022 the output growth rate of Industry Ministry enterprises totaled 108% in comparable prices. Thus, the output increase registered in 2023 exceeded the figure registered in 2022 by 4.6 percentage points.
In 2023 Belarusian industrial enterprises operated in normal mode and demonstrated positive dynamics of Industry Ministry performance indicators on a monthly basis.
The merchandise export growth rate of Industry Ministry organizations is expected to reach 107.8% in 2023.
The ratio of the stock in storage against the monthly output remained minimal and amounted to 76.8%.
The profitability of sales in the manufacturing sector for the year 2023 is expected to exceed 8%. On the whole, the industry is operating in the black.
