Chambers of commerce of Belarus, Russia’s Kamchatka discuss promising areas of cooperation

A Russian business delegation headed by President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kamchatka Territory Dmitry Korostelev visited the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) as part of the working visit of Governor of Russia's Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov to Belarus, the BelCCI press service told BelTA.

BelCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov met with the head of the Kamchatka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was also attended by Gennady Cherny, Director General of the Mogilev Office of the BelCCI, a point man in the BelCCI for cooperation with Kamchatka Territory.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing cooperation, possible areas for enhancing trade and economic relations, expanding the range of goods and the ways of improving logistics. The Russian partners emphasized the high quality of Belarusian food and light industry products.

Dmitry Korostelev invited the BelCCI and business community of Belarus to pay a return visit to Kamchatka Territory.

B2B meetings between representatives of Belarusian and Kamchatka enterprises and organizations were held after the meeting between the chamber leaders. The participants discussed partnerships in the food industry, fish processing, pharmaceuticals, logistics and other fields. Following the negotiations, valuable business contacts were established and specific agreements were reached.

The delegation of Kamchatka Territory is also expected to tour a number of Belarusian enterprises.
