The Belarusian company Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) in association with Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant will ship 50 new Gorozhanin [urban dweller] trolleybuses to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, MAZ’s press service told BelTA.

The new rolling stock based on MAZ 203 assembly kits boasts increased autonomous range of up to 30km and will hit the city’s streets by spring 2026.

Apart from that, Gorozhanin trolleybuses are designed to operate in temperatures varying from minus 40C to plus 40C, which is particularly important for the capital city of the Urals area.
