Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) reached a 6.9% energy saving result in H1 2025, exceeding its 3% target, the MAZ press service told BelTA.

“As a result of the implemented energy-saving measures, the plant saved 2,638 tonnes of fuel equivalent in H1 2025. The monetary saving of fuel and energy resources, taking into account the ongoing effect of the 2024 measures, exceeded Br1.8 million,” the company’s energy management department noted.

The most significant measures included the modernization of welding equipment and the installation of energy-efficient compressors that supply compressed air to the manufacturing facilities during off-peak production hours.
