BelAZ will channel over Br300 million into increasing its manufacturing capacity, representatives of the Belarusian haul truck manufacturer BelAZ told BelTA.

In 2026 BelAZ will continue implementing a large-scale investment program on modernizing the manufacturing facilities, on introducing modern manufacturing lines and equipment. This strategy is aimed at increasing the company’s manufacturing potential and at creating highly efficient and reliable mining vehicles that meet the most exacting quality standards.

Focus on quality is not only a strategic goal but concrete steps. This year BelAZ’s fixed-capital investments are expected to reach Br301.5 million, which is nearly Br100 million more than last year (Br203.3 million).

The enterprise will buy 110 units of new process equipment, weight-lifting equipment, and welding equipment. The number is nearly twice as large as the number of units of equipment the company bought in 2025 (62 units).

The introduction and mastery of the new products in the company’s manufacturing division allow reducing costs, accelerating the speed of production of parts, and increasing the performance. Modern machine tools are an instrument that helps create the high-quality products the market needs.
