Belarusian ambassador meets with Russia’s Volgograd Oblast governor

Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik is currently on a working visit to Volgograd Oblast, Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.

"During the meeting with Governor of Volgograd Oblast Andrey Bocharov, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Belarus and the Russian region and exchanged views on ways to enhance joint efforts. The parties also touched upon the participation of Belarusian manufacturers in modernizing the fleet of passenger vehicles, the supply of utility vehicles and road construction machinery, prospects for creating joint machine-building enterprises and developing industrial cooperation, potential projects in the waste management sector. Special attention was paid to transport, logistics and the development of international transit corridors," the press service noted.

The parties also discussed preparations for the international patriotic forum of the Belarus-Russia Union State Great Heritage - Common Future due to be held in Volgograd at the end of April.
