Belarusian ambassador discusses manufacturing cooperation with Russian aircraft producer

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik met with Director General of PAO United Aircraft Corporation Yuri Slyusar, the press service of the diplomatic mission told BelTA.

Matters were discussed of stepping up manufacturing cooperation between Belarusian enterprises (OAO 558 Aircraft Repair Plant, Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No.407, OAO Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant) and companies belonging to PAO United Aircraft Corporation with a focus on accomplishing common tasks to reach technological sovereignty.
Agreements were reached on further invigoration of interaction in the most topical fields, the development of a long-term program on manufacturing parts and assembly subunits at premises of the relevant Belarusian enterprises to meet needs of the Russian aircraft engineering industry.
