Belarusian enterprises are taking part in the 31st edition of the International Exhibition for Food, Beverages and Food Raw Materials Prodexpo 2024 in Moscow. This is a major international showcase event for food and beverages in Russia and Eastern Europe, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

Domestic food producers take part in this exhibition on a regular basis to showcase the best of their products and new launches, Belinterexpo noted.

The expo stands out for its impressive scale, variety of exhibits and a great number of new products. It is Russia’s largest food industry event in terms of exhibition space, the interest from the professional community, international recognition and market coverage. This year 2,145 companies from 40 countries are participating in the tradeshow, including Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, the UAE, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Germany, and Greece.

“Belarus’ exposition always draws crowds thanks to the well-known Made in Belarus brand, which has long won recognition both in Russia and other countries. This helps promote new and existing brands of the participating companies,” Belinterexpo said.

The Belarusian exposition features one of the CIS largest producers of baby formula Bellakt, Margot and K bakery products company, as well as Lida Milk Canning Plant. The Made in Belarus collective exposition was arranged by the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the BelCCI.

The Bellakt company from Volkovysk presents products for expectant mothers, traditional dairy desserts and more, including its latest products for healthy eaters.

The Margot and K enterprise offers, among other things, a thin flatbread prepared to a classic Armenian recipe with a shelf life of more than two weeks. The company’s assortment includes products made from yeast dough with various flavors.

Lida Milk Canning Plant is known for its commitment to quality and has brought a broad assortment of products to the Moscow exhibition. The focus is on dairy powders, unsalted butter and a wide selection of cheeses. The company’s branches Oshmyany Cheese Factory and Novogrudok Gifts are also showcasing their new products.

The 31st edition of the International Exhibition for Food, Beverages and Food Raw Materials Prodexpo 2024 has a busy business program that includes special training sessions and forums. Detailed information about the program is available on the official website of the expo.

Representatives of the Belarusian companies will be able to hold B2B talks with business people from Egypt to discuss cooperation in agriculture and food production.

The exhibition Prodexpo will be running until 9 February.
