Belarus, Russia discuss cooperation in high-tech industries

 Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik met with President of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Academician Gennady Krasnikov, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission. 

"The parties discussed the status of implementation of the strategy on scientific and technological development of the Union State of Belarus and Russia until 2035. The parties also praised the adoption of the resolution of the Union State Council of Ministers on 26 March 2025, which approved the action plan for the first state (2024-2030) of the strategy. Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Gennady Krasnikov also exchanged views on cooperation in several high-tech sectors of national economies, including microelectronics and chemical production," the press service stated.

The Belarusian ambassador and the RAS president exchanged congratulations on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia. The parties highlighted the importance of the Union State's efforts to counter the falsification of history.

"Gennady Krasnikov also announced the agenda for the upcoming joint meeting of the Presidiums of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Russian Academy of Sciences scheduled to be held on 8 April in Moscow," the press service added.
