Belarus' industrial output up by nearly 3% in January 2025

In January 2025, Belarus' industrial output amounted to Br16.5 billion, up by 2.9% in comparable prices year-on-year, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus, - BELTA has learned.

The mining industry expanded by 1.4% and the processing industry grew by 5.7% year-on-year.

The industries producing electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and conditioned air posted a 9.4% decline in the output. The industries providing water supply, waste collection, waste processing, waste disposal, pollution cleanup shrank by 1.5%.
