Belarus' food exports to Russia's Novosibirsk Oblast up 63.6% in January-July 2023

Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Sergei Bartosh held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Government of Novosibirsk Oblast - Minister of Agriculture Yevgeny Leshchenko at the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry on 10 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.

The parties agreed on supplies of Gomelagrokomplekt equipment, fish fodder produced by Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC), food and seed potatoes, as well as frost-resistant seedlings.

Agreements were also reached to equip Belarusian machinery with elements of the precision farming system produced in Novosibirsk Oblast, with the prospect of setting up a joint production.

The parties are also looking into the implementation of a project to set up a joint production of preservatives for fodder storage.

The Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry emphasized that the export of Belarusian food products and agricultural raw materials to Novosibirsk Oblast increased by 63.6% in January-July 2023 compared to the same period last year.
