Belarus’ exports of building materials to Russia’s Voronezh Oblast at $2.6m in January-March

In January-March 2024 Belarus supplied construction materials worth $2.6 million to Voronezh Oblast of Russia, BelTA learned from the Architecture and Construction Ministry of Belarus. 

In January-March 2024, the trade between the construction sectors of Belarus and Voronezh Oblast of Russia amounted to $3.5 million (up by 13.6% year-on-year). Belarus exported $2.6 million worth of construction materials to the Russian region and had a surplus of $1.7 million in the bilateral trade. 

In 2023, the trade between construction sectors of Belarus and Voronezh Oblast totaled $17.6 million (up by 36.3% year-on-year). Last year, Belarus’ exports of construction materials to Voronezh Oblast came at $14.7 million (up by 47.6% year-on-year), imports - $2.8 million (97.9%). Belarus had a surplus in the amount of $11.9 million.
