Belarus' cooperation with Russian association Rosspetsmash discussed

Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik met with President of the Russian Association of Specialized Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers (Rosspetsmash Association) Konstantin Babkin on 21 December, BelTA has learned.

The association represents interests of Russian manufacturers of agricultural machines, road construction machines, and assists with their development and promotion of the products they make onto foreign markets. Rosspetsmash comprises 245 enterprises, including the harvester factory Rostselmash, the forage harvester manufacturer Klever, and OOO KDM Plant.

During the meeting it was noted that the choice of agricultural machines and vehicles made by Belarusian and Russian companies satisfies needs of agricultural enterprises of the Union State of Belarus and Russia for machines and vehicles at present.

The parties also agreed to continue working together to work out the necessary measures to protect the automobile market of the Union State of Belarus and Russia from import.
