In accordance with a cooperation agreement with the Krasnodar Territory Export Support Center, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) has joined the educational project titled as Export Academy, which is designed to enhance the export efficiency of the region’s business circles, the BUCE press service told BelTA.

The project’s target audience includes export-oriented SMEs and representatives of local self-government bodies specializing in foreign economic activity.

The project aims to boost the use of BUCE trading platform by Krasnodar Territory’s businesses for sales and procurement operations in Belarus, covering both commodities and manufactured goods.

“A lack of awareness among business representatives about the opportunities of using exchange tools for operating in foreign markets is usually one of the main factors hindering the development of exchange trade between Belarus and Russian regions. Therefore, a provision for joint educational activities is a standard and mandatory part of all cooperation agreements and MOUs the exchange concludes with regional export centers and chambers of commerce. Given the universal nature of the exchange mechanism, this area of interaction serves the interests of both parties and, most importantly, always yields practical results,” the BUCE press service said.

According to BUCE, 93 economic entities of Krasnodar Territory are currently accredited on the exchange platform, with 12 of them participating in trades since 2025. In January-September 2025, the amount of exchange transactions between Belarus’ and Krasnodar Territory’s companies increased 1.8 times to $3.1 million. Belarus mainly exported butter, dry milk and softwood timber, while Krasnodar Territory supplied specialized paper products and components for rolling stock.
