Belarus attracts $6.9bn in foreign investment in 2024

Foreign investors injected $6.9 billion in the real sector of economy in Belarus in 2024, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.

The inflow of foreign direct investment amounted to $5.2 billion, or 74.8% of all foreign investment.

In 2024, the country's entities invested $4.9 billion in economic operators located abroad. Direct investment accounted for 80.8% of all investments abroad.

The National Statistical Committee noted that the data on foreign investments do not include banks, non-bank credit and financial institutions, Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, budgetary organizations.
