Security threats to Belarus, Russia discussed in Moscow

Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik met with Sergey Mironov, chairman of the A Just Russia – For Truth party, head of the faction in the Russian State Duma, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed topical issues of Belarusian-Russian interaction and the state of affairs in the Union State of Belarus and Russia. Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Sergey Mironov exchanged views on the outcomes of the recent session of the Union State Supreme State Council in Minsk.

"Special attention was paid to the state of trade and economic relations, global and regional challenges and threats to the security of Belarus and Russia. The parties also discussed the upcoming presidential election in Belarus in January 2025," the press service reported.
