Mezentsev handed over a shipment of humanitarian aid from the Union State to the children of Donbass

In accordance with the decisions of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, Secretary of State Dmitry Mezentsev has handed over a new batch of humanitarian aid to the children of Donbass, BelTA has learned.

Equipment and certificates for the arrangement of 26 classes, including carpentry, plumbing, sewing, culinary and computer classes, were purchased and transferred to 12 educational institutions of the DNR and LNR. In addition, Mezentsev presented books from the literary and publishing project "Library of the Union State", which, based on reliable materials, highlight the heroic past of the peoples of Belarus and Russia, their traditions and culture.

This is the sixth humanitarian mission of the Union State in Donbas. According to Dmitry Mezentsev, over the past three years, the Union State has provided assistance to educational institutions in Donbass in the amount of 125 million Russian rubles. He also noted that the Standing Committee is awaiting applications from the Ministries of Education of the DPR and LPR for equipping institutions in 2025. "We strive to accurately and comprehensively support the learning process and the quality of education for children," the Secretary of State added.

Earlier, food, clothing, and toys were purchased for children of Donbass at the expense of the Union State.
