Belarus' ambassador tours Russia's Skolkovo Innovation Center

Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik has visited the Skolkovo Innovation Center, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy told BelTA.

“Meetings were held with representatives of resident companies of the innovation center that are interested in building contacts with Belarusian companies. During the meetings, areas of further cooperation were identified,” the press service said.

Aleksandr Rogozhnik familiarized himself with projects of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, toured laboratories of Technopark Skolkovo and Skoltech, as well as the Moscow International Medical Cluster. The ambassador was told about Russia's achievements in machine tool building, bionic prosthetics, robotics, transport and space, as well as the innovative ecosystem, services available to resident companies and the experience of international cooperation of the Skolkovo Foundation.

“Taking into consideration that the Skolkovo Foundation is the operator of the CIS interstate innovative cooperation program for the period up to 2030, the parties discussed cooperation prospects in science, technology and innovations between the CIS member states, and outlined promising cooperation avenues,” the press service remarked.
