Belarus counts on the closest possible cooperation with Russia’s PSB Bank, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Chairman of PSB Bank Petr Fradkov in Minsk on 5 October, BelTA has learned.

“We have a very positive attitude towards your bank in Belarus and would like the closest possible cooperation with your bank,” the head of state said. Yesterday, Aleksandr Genrikhovich [Turchin, Prime Minister of Belarus] spoke about this. And it seems to me that he has already worked out a whole plan for our relations.”

“Thank you for coming to Belarus. I am ready to discuss any issues. We are ready to cooperate,” the Belarusian leader said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also asked Petr Fradkov to pass on his warmest wishes to his father, Mikhail Fradkov: “If you have the opportunity, pass on my warmest wishes to your father. The main thing is health. He has everything else. If not, as I say, we will buy it. I have very good feelings towards him after our work together. After all, he worked for a long time - both as Chairman of the Government and as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.”
