Wreath-laying ceremony at Memorial to Soviet Soldiers-Liberators in Vitebsk

The Union State Day is marked on 16 July on the sidelines of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. The events within the framework of the Union State Day kicked off with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame of the Memorial to the Soviet Soldiers-Liberators, Partisans and Underground Fighters of Vitebsk Oblast. Taking part in the ceremony were State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Dmitry Mezentsev, representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, the Union State Parliamentary Assembly, and public associations, war veterans, servicemen, and the youth.
