PHOTOfact: The Presidential Library presented little-known archives and books related to CPW

Representatives of the Belarusian and ally media visited the Presidential Library, where an exhibition of little-known archival documents related to the Great Patriotic War, books, returned to the country after the war, unique geographical maps, as well as an interactive exposition of biographies of front-line soldiers with elements of augmented reality were presented.

According to the Director of the Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Kvachan, during the war almost all library funds were taken away in Belarus. In 1944 the BSSR government started to restore the cultural heritage. Some of the funds were returned from Germany, some publications were donated to the library from the brotherly Soviet republics, there are also books from personal archives.
