On March 5, a solemn ceremony was held at the Independence Palace to award state decorations to the country's distinguished women.

The head of state presented the Order of Honor to Tatyana Aksamit, Head of the Education Department of the Grodno District Executive Committee; the Medal "For Labor Merit" to Anzhela Alferonok, Head of Production at the Belarusian Leather and Footwear Company "Marko" Holding Management Company; Irina Belyakova, Engineer-Technologist in the Technical Department of the Orsha Flax Mill; and Nadezhda Kapichnikova, Leading Researcher in the Fruit Growing Technology Department of the Institute of Fruit Growing.
Alexander Lukashenko awarded the Order of Mother to representatives of all regions and Minsk. Among them were Anzhelika Klimovich, a retail banking specialist at Banking Services Center No. 527 of Belarusbank; Natalya Stukach, a special education teacher at Svetlogorsk Special Kindergarten No. 17; Svetlana Talatynnik, a teacher-organizer at Brest Secondary School No. 28; and Anastasia Patrusova, a research fellow in the cultural and educational department of the E.R. Romanov Mogilev Regional Museum of Local History.
In addition, honorary titles were awarded. Natalya Masharskaya, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Physical Culture at BSUPC, was named an Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports; Yulia Apanasovich, an athlete and instructor on the Belarusian national boxing team, was named an Honored Master of Sports; and Galina Radoman, Principal of Snovskaya Secondary School in Nesvizh District, was named an Honored Worker of Education.
