PHOTOfact: how the children's holiday was held in the Palace of Independence as part of the "Our Children" campaign

10:00, 5 January

Fairy-tale characters greeted the children right at the entrance to the Ceremony Hall. It was here that the stage for the presentation and the interactive platform unfolded. The little guests of the Independence Palace were immediately offered a lot of activities and master classes. The children could make souvenirs for every taste with their own hands: holiday cards, Christmas candles, Christmas tree toys, fairy masks, magic paintings and "Horse" magnets with the symbol of the year 2026.

No one had to get bored while waiting for the performance. Artists in New Year's images entertained children with round dances, exciting games and magic tricks. There was also a place for gaming complexes in the largest hall of the Independence Palace. The guys could, for example, compete with each other by playing air hockey.

"The Our Children campaign continues and is marching across the country. Our main concern is to make sure that every child is surrounded by attention and care, immersed in a fairy tale, and the New Year, 2026, will be remembered for something special for them," Ekaterina Petrutskaya, Deputy Minister of Education, told reporters. - Those guys who came to the Palace of Independence have such an opportunity. Here they can not only answer the question of how to become a Snow Maiden, but also truly believe in a fairy tale. The atmosphere that prevails here allows the guys to say that the New Year is really the most amazing and wonderful holiday.

"By the way, a total of 800 children will be able to see New Year's performances at the Independence Palace as part of the "Our Children" campaign. Among them are orphans, children from foster families, family-type orphanages and social and educational centers.

The fairy tale, which was prepared for the children at the Independence Palace, received a very intriguing title - "How to become a Snow Maiden?" A magical celebration took place on the stage with the participation of Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden, the Kikimora, the Woodman and many other fairy-tale characters.
"It's a fairy tale that it's not so easy to become a Snow Maiden. A festive outfit, a beautiful hairstyle and sequins are not enough - you need a kind heart. A kind heart that is ready to help, to help out in a difficult moment," said director of photography Tatiana Sambuk.

The performance that was played out in front of the guys, in fact, became the premiere. According to Tatiana Sambuk, the production was seen only by adults during rehearsals and final delivery. "When children come, it's a completely different energy. Everything is really festive, joyful, and fun," she added.

"How to become a Snow Maiden?" - an interactive fairy tale in many ways. The characters interacted with the children every now and then, and they plunged into this magical action with undisguised interest and delight. The most modern technologies were also used - the video content was created from scratch using artificial intelligence. This made it possible to fill the overall picture with even more vivid fairy tales and really immerse the children in the atmosphere of New Year's magic.
