The Holy Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, Great Vespers and the rite of the great consecration of water at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, the press service of the Russian Orthodox Church reports.

At the special litany, special petitions were offered, and the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church read a prayer for Holy Russia.
At the end of the Liturgy, The Holy celebrated great Vespers and the rite of the great consecration of water. Then the glorification of the feast was celebrated.
At the end of the service, The Holy Patriarch Kirill congratulated the faithful on Christmas Eve and the upcoming feast of Theophany and delivered a sermon.
