On October 2, 2026, a meeting of the Scientific and Expert Council under the Standing Committee of the Union State, titled "Specifics of Trade, Economic, and Investment Cooperation within the Union State," was held at the Great Stone Industrial Park under the chairmanship of State Secretary of the Union State Sergey Glazyev.

Topics for discussion included: assessing the potential for Belarusian-Russian trade, economic, and investment cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats; the experience of the "Great Stone" park and its resident companies in attracting investment to the economies of Belarus and the Union State; the synergy between science and industry in implementing high-tech projects within the Union State; and issues regarding enhancing the investment appeal of regions in Belarus and Russia, as well as the "Union State Product" initiative and its role in industrial cooperation.
Council members also explored the industrial park's investment potential and opportunities for implementing joint projects and strengthening business cooperation.
