Belarusian national holiday of the harvest "Bagach" celebrated in the museum Yanka Kupala in Vzallnka

The State Literary Museum of Yanka Kupala and the student ethnographic society held Belarusian national holiday "Bagach".

In the Kupalovsky memorial reserve "Vzallnka", in the homeland of folk poet Yanka Kupala, autumn festival has become traditional. Since ancient times "Bagach" is tend to be  called a harvest holiday, when the harvest season ends. According to the tradition, in the second half of autumn, when fields and gardens are free of crops, one may relax a little and thank nature for the harvest.

The guests of the holiday were shown a solemn ceremony of grain felling and burning, heard the Dojinky and autumn songs from different regions of Belarus, and it was not without incendiary dances. Both adults and children participated in the entertainment.
