Various aspects of Belarus-Russia cooperation discussed

A videoconference session of the High-Level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia took place on 14 December. The session was co-chaired by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko, the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission told BelTA.

Participants of the videoconference session discussed draft agendas of the next sessions of the Supreme State Council and the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. Results of the work on lifting restrictions on the access of Belarusian radioelectronic products to government procurement contracts in Russia were discussed. The definition of conditions for selling Belarusian lifts to Russia was discussed as well as the recognition of digital signatures in bilateral electronic documents and the cancellation of roaming charges in the territory of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

A number of other matters of current interest for Belarus-Russia cooperation were also discussed. As a result of the videoconference session the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia was instructed to prepare draft protocol decisions and submit it for signing to the co-chairpersons of the High-Level Group.
